On June 6, 2015, Gopal-Pramila Memorial Trust distributed relief goods to the earthquake affected people of Dudheykuna village in Tanahun district. 150 affected families of Dudheykuna village were benefited from the relief distribution programme. Meanwhile, Trust also distributed pregnancy and post pregnancy relief packages to 60 new mothers.

The relief items consisted of:

  1. Rice – 90 sacks (30 kg per sack)
  2. Rice - 63 sacks  (25 kg per sack)
  3. Bitten Rice - 150 packets of 5 kg each
  4. Pulse - 150 packets of 2 kg per family
  5. Flour - 150 packets of 5 kg per family
  6. Salt - 150 packets of 1 kg per family
  7. Sugar - 150 kg (2kg per family)
  8. Tea - 150 packets of 250 gm per family
  9. Oil - 175 ltr (1ltr each per family +)
  10. Biscuits - 2 cartons
  11. Clothes - 2 sacks ( Gown, kurta salwar and sari only for women)
  12. Blankets - 150 pieces
  13. Tarpaulins - 105 pieces
  14. Noodles - 60 cartons

The pregnancy and post pregnancy relief package consists of:

  1. Baby soap - 60 pcs
  2. Baby powder - 60 pcs
  3. Jeevan jal - 60 pcs
  4. Sanitary Pads - 60 pcs
  5. Mosquito net - 60 pcs
  6. Gown for mother - 60 pcs
  7. Sarvotaam Peetho - 60 pcs
  8. Baby cloth set - 60 pcs

Relief goods distributed to the earthquake victims were bought by fund received by the trust from the donors. In addition to this, Dr. Arun Raj Kunwar from American Nepal Medical Foundation donated pregnancy and post pregnancy items for the relief distribution programme. Similarly, Col. Michael Gannon (Retd) and Mrs. May Gannon, Chairperson of Clinic Nepal Mr Hari Bhandari and Ms Saraswati Thapa provided the various relief items for the programme. Likewise, Mr. Chandra Lama supported the programme by providing transportation for the delivery of the relief items.
Members of the trust and families of renowned actor/director Mr. Santosh Panta, Mr. Nirmal Poudel and his friends from Chitwan also assisted in distribution of the relief items.
