Classification of Members and eligibility
There are four types of Membership which are as follows

  1. General Member: Any Nepali citizen may apply for the membership under the criteria of the Section 7.
  2. Founder Member: The officials during the registration of the Trust are the founder members. Founder members can either apply for General or Lifetime membership.
  3. Lifetime Member: Persons/ Organization  making  special contribution to the organization are the lifetime members.
  4. Honorary Member: The General assembly will decide to grant honorary membership. The honorary members however won’t have voting rights.

 Eligibility criteria for membership
Criterion for membership

  1. The applicant must be a Nepalese citizen.
  2. The applicant must be 18 years of age.
  3.  Ex-soldiers can be the member of the organization
  4. The applicant shouldn’t be insane.
  5. The applicant should not be involved in the abuse of public property.
  6. The applicant should not be prosecuted in corruption cases.

Those who cannot apply

  1. Foreign citizens.
  2. The applicant is insane.
  3.  Under 18 years of age.
  4. Applicant prosecuted for the abuse of public property.
  5. Applicant prosecuted   for corruption cases.
  6. Applicant having vested interest other than the organization .
  7.  Applicant prosecuted by Military Court.

 Suspension of membership
Following criterion apply

  1. The member is unable to get membership according to section 8 of the Legislation.
  2. The general assembly votes to remove the member  by  ¾ majority
  3. If the member tenders his resignation.
  4. If found guilty of corruption or  for treason against the Trust.
  5. For going against the Legislation.
  6. If membership fee is not submitted in time.
  7. If the organization is dissolved.

(Before the suspension of the membership, all members will be given a fair chance to put up their case. )
